1. WBQC changes to WKRP. After the trademark process was approved, the WBQC brand changed to WKRP. Soon later, news clippings are sent across the world with the rebirth of WKRP in Cincinnati. Fox News, MSNBC, CNN and even Paul Harvey spread the word WKRP is back on the air in Cincinnati.

2. WKRP simulcasted on two channels. WOTH-LP Channel 25 had recently switched to digital WOTH-LD. December 1, 2008 was the official first week of WKRP broadcasted on both analog WBQC-CA channel 38 and WOTH-LD digital 25-2.

3. Lincoln Ware Live ended after more than five years on the air. The long running local talk forum program aired its last show on January 4, 2009.

4. Scizone changed focus. The format change of the show was due in part to the ever growing interest in political theories and conspiracies rather than paranormal activities. About The News debuted 7:30pm on Saturday, January 10, 2009.

5. New networks added in Cincinnati. On April 9, 2009, Retro Television was added to the WKRP digital multicast lineup on channel 25-3. Jewelry Television aired 24/7 on channel 25-4.

6. August 2009. The conversion to digital was completed.

7. Minus one and add two. About The News ended its run on October 10, 2009. Although it ended, two new shows were introduced to local viewers. On October 17, 2009, local horror movie show Frank Zito’s Night of Frights premiered on Saturday nights. Local reality show NXS: Make Me A Host premiered on October 24, 2009.

8. WKRP said good-bye to three shows. NXS: Make Me A Host found a new host after the show ended in January. March 19th was the final episode of the Friday Night Fu, capping an end to its three season run. Frank Zito’s Night of Frights ended after its one season run the following week.

9. New projects on the horizon. In March 2010, Universal Sports was added to channel lineup. WKRP moved to channel 25-1. Universal Sports was on 25-2. Also, the new local show STUFF was added to the daily lineup. STUFF featured music videos, classic commercials, cartoons and various funny clips.

11. Friday Night Fu returned in Prime Time in February 2011 for the Friday Night Fu: 11-month Reunion Special with a live performance by Mad Anthony.

12. WKRP welcomes THIStv to the family. THIStv “officially” replaced Universal Sports on 25.2 on January 1, 2012. A soft launch was done Saturday, December 31st at 7:30pm.

13. WKRP welcomes COZI TV to the family. The new network officially replaced Retro Television on 25.3 on January 1, 2013. A soft launch was done Monday, December 31st at 7:00pm.

14. WKRP welcomes SONLIFE to the family. The network launched May 12, 2014 on 25.6.

15. America One (25.5) became YouToo America.

16. WKRP welcomes HEARTLAND to the family. The new network’s soft launch was on December 15, 2014 on 25.5.
